LA Technology Group ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

1. What We Collect
When you use our website, we may collect the following:
- Identity and contact information you give us through forms: name, email address, and phone number (phone is optional).
- Message content you submit through contact forms, project inquiries, or chat.
- Calculator inputs you enter into pricing or scoping tools on the site.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, user agent, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and time spent.
- Cookies and similar storage as described in our Cookies Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, financial account numbers, health data, or other sensitive personal information through the website.
2. Why We Collect It
We use your information only for the purposes listed below:
- Lead handling. To respond to project inquiries, send proposals, schedule calls, and follow up on quotes.
- Transactional email. To send booking confirmations, invoices, and project updates related to a specific request you made.
- Analytics. To understand how visitors use the site and improve content. Analytics only run if you consent.
- Security and abuse prevention. To detect spam, block automated abuse, and apply rate limits.
- Legal compliance. To meet tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising or share it with data brokers.
3. Legal Basis
For California residents, we process information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Our basis is your request for our services, our legitimate business interest in operating the site, and your consent for non-essential cookies.
For visitors in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on these legal bases: your consent (cookies, marketing), your request to enter into a contract (project inquiries), our legitimate interest in running the business (security, fraud prevention), and legal obligation (tax records).
4. How Long We Keep It
We keep data only as long as we need it:
- Lead records and calculator sessions — 24 months from your last contact with us.
- Aggregated analytics — 12 months, then deleted or further anonymized.
- Transactional email logs — 6 months.
- Contracts, invoices, and tax records — 7 years, as required by California and federal law.
When a retention period ends, we delete or anonymize the data.
5. Third Parties We Use
We use the following service providers. Each one processes data only on our instructions and under its own privacy policy:

We may share your data with these providers only as needed to deliver our service. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing.
We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights:
- Access. Ask what data we hold about you.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention exceptions).
- Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Portability. Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Opt-out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, but you can confirm this in writing. California residents can submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request to the email below.
- Email opt-out. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (such as booking confirmations) cannot be unsubscribed from while the related project is active.
- Withdraw cookie consent. Use the cookie settings link in the website footer.
To exercise any right, email latechnologygroups@gmail.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days, as required by CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
7. Children
Our services are for businesses. They are not directed at people under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data, email us and we will delete it.
8. International Transfers
Our services and providers are based in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the site, you accept this transfer. We rely on standard contractual safeguards with our providers where required.
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices: TLS encryption in transit, restricted database access, rate limiting on public endpoints, and error monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by California law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. If we make a material change, we will post a notice banner on the site for at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
